what: During the Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) Scouts from all over the world try to communicate with each other by Ham Radios.
who: Tiger to Venturing and Boy or Girl Scouts.
when: "Hands-on" Saturday October 20, 2007
from 9am to 2pm.

Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI)

what: At the same time as the JOTA the World Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) will take place. Scouts all over the world try to communicate with each other over the internet.

Jamboree-on-the-Internet, or JOTI, is an annual Scouting event sponsored by the World Scout Bureau of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This event utilizes computers and the Internet. Thousands of Scout groups can be contacted during the weekend.In the United States, Cub Scout dens and Boy Scout patrols can meet and, under the supervision of leadership, make many new friends.

who: Tiger to Venturing and Boy or Girl Scouts.
when: October 20/21 2007 (third weekend in October)
where: At this time it is not a combined activity. Each Scout can participate with an adult partner and/or organize a group.
