Desert District Recognition Dinner
The District Dinner is a time that the Desert District wants to recognize scouters of any age who are nominated (by anyone) and selected by the committee for their outstanding work in the scouting program.
Note: People need to be nominated to be selected.
Do not count on someone else to turn in the paperwork!

| Who gets recognized: |
Adults who have completed their requirements for their "knot" (Training Awards) and
Individuals selected from nominations: CubSout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, Venturing Scout, Leaders, in all areas and Supporters.

How to nominate someone:
For District Award of Merit (the highest District award for someone to receive at District Level): download the District Award of Merit Nomination form.
Need to know if someone was already awarded the District Award of Merit? Check the list.
For any award (other than District Award of Merit): download District recognitions form in .rtf form or in .pdf form.
Fill out the form--or write the recommendation up in letterformat--and email them/it to:

Know now already someone who deserves an award and you are to late to meet the deadline? Fill out and mail in the form any time during the year and we keep the nomination on file for the next awards dinner. If no nominations are received, no awards can be given out.
