Young Engineers and Scientists of Ridgecrest (YES!) is a conference designed to heighten the awareness of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade young men to the importance of adequate math and science preparation. Our goals are similar to the local Women of Math and Science conference who is affiliated with Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) which focuses on middle school young women. - Date of Conference: Saturday, April 24, 2010 · Spark interest in students through participation in hands-on workshops, participants will be introduced to applications in math, science, and technology for traditional and non-traditional careers. · Encourage middle school students to take higher level math in order to keep all of their options opens.
- How You Can Help: YES! Needs Your Support!YES! of Ridgecrest is a small non-profit, 501C3 charitable organization. We are raising money through donations to help pay for our conference.
