And the second week is complete!


Congratulations go to CJSGM for coming in first in Week # 2 only missing 3 games, followed closely by Andrew, moon, Dr Pork, and Prime Time (all with 4 losses), mars, Bear, and Kinko (all with 5 losses), Wanderer (6 losses), and The Swaminator (5 losses). (Odd SWAMI was not eligible.) This must have been an easier week than Week #1 for there were a lot more Key Picks for the week (games where a lot of participants picked either team)! Will these participants continue in their picky ways? Stay tuned for continuation of this exciting story in our next edition!


Congratulations go to Roll Tide for coming in last in Week # 2 only missing 12 games, followed closely by IRISH (10 losses), none (12 losses), Fear the Sisters and Tenacious D (both with 9 losses), JT, PNW. and LGTomcat (all with 8 looses), and WunderBrew and Cosmic Turtle (both with 7 losses). Will these participants continue in their picky ways? Stay tuned for continuation of this exciting story in our next edition!


Congratulations go to Prime Time for remaining in the cumulative lead in Week # 2 (second consecutive week), followed closely by mars (remained in 2nd), CJSGM (up from 23rd), moon (up from 6th), Dr Pork (up from 19th), Andrew (up from 21st), Bear (down from 5th), Wanderer (down from 3rd), The Swaminator (down from 7th), and DogRam (up from 13th). Out of the top ten go Fear the Sisters (down from 4th to 21st), JT (down from 8th to 18th), Biggs Darklighter (down from 9th to 14th), and Tenacious D (down from 118th to 20th)! There are many more weeks to go so how will this list get juggled? Stay tuned for more intriguing stories!


Congratulations go to IRISH for remaining in the lead for the last place spot in Week # 2 (second consecutive week), followed closely by Roll Tide (down from 23rd), none (up from 160th), Fear the Sisters (up from 4th), Tenacious D (up from 11th), LGTomcat (down from 20th), JT (up from 89th), PNW (up from 14th), WunderBrew (down from 17th) and Cosmic Turtle (remained in 15th)! This battle for that covetted last space spot rages!! Remember, the eligibility for this race requires at least 80% of the games picked! Some people are already hindering their chances by missing a paper! Random, Average, and SWAMI-odds are ineligible! Will these participants continue in their picky ways? ANNOUNCEMENTS!! - There was an anomaly in the postings of Week #1 on the Points and Weekly Standings pages. There were two listings for "Roll Tide" on both page - the first one listed should have been for "Cosmic Turtle". The Picks and Cumulative Standings pages were correct though. The anomaly has been corrected and reposted. The rivalry standings are posted.(for Week #1 also)! If you have a rivalry, let me know through the Comments sections of the entry form. Otherwise I will use last year's rivalries! If there are any changes that need to be made, let me know also! I also will use last year's contact information so if that has changed, let me know!


SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS!! - Please double check that ALL the fields have been filled and there are no 0's point spread (the parser doesn't like those things). The parser should identify the problem with a note to the right of the field ("No pick yet.", "No spread", "entry is required", etc.). Also, DOUBLE CHECK that you entered your picks correctly as I take what is on your entry and won't second guess you (I know that you didn't want a team by 140 points but do I really know that?) and DOUBLE CHECK that at the bottom of the response page, it is identified that your entry was "Picks submitted successfully!" rather than "Fill in missing information & try again!". Resubmit again until you get the correct response. Let me know if you can't get a successful response.


NOTICE: - As always, if you notice any errors, please don't hesitate to bring them to my attention via a phone call or comment in the comments section on your weekly picks! Any changes will be noted in the Newsletter and reflected in the Cumulative Standings. All pages that have been newly updated will be noted in the Newsletter for those of you wishing to look back on previous weeks. If anybody wishes a hardcopy update of a previous week, just request it - but it may cost you a drink!
