It is with a sad heart that it appears that we have lost another SWAMI participant this last month, JoAnne Boessow, whose obituary was printed in the Escondido paper for 19 September 2023. She had missed a few papers (which was unusual) so it was apparent something was wrong. Our prayers are with her family!


Congratulations go to Cosmic Turtle for coming in first in Week # 6 only missing 6 games (WOW!), followed closely by WunderBrew (6 losses), Kinko, ZIP, Wanderer, moon, mars, JT (all with 7 losses), and PNW and Dr Pork (both with 8 losses). (Average and Odd Swami were not eligible.) This must have been an close week for only 3 losses separate 3rd place and 24th place! Will these participants continue in their picky ways? Stay tuned for continuation of this exciting story in our next edition!


Congratulations go to none for coming in last in Week # 6 only missing 10 games, followed closely by Tenacious D (11 losses), IRISH and Yoda (both with 10 losses), CJSGM, Andrew, and LGTomcat (all with 9 losses), and DogRam, Fear the Sisters, and Take the Over (all with 8 losses). Will these participants continue in their picky ways? Stay tuned for continuation of this exciting story in our next edition!


Congratulations go to WunderBrew for jumping into the cumulative lead in Week # 6 (up from 4th), followed closely by Wanderer (remained in 2nd), Prime Time (down from 1st), mars (remained in 5th), Kinko (up from 10th), The Swaminator (down from 6th), Dr Pork (remained in 9th), JT (up from 11th), Andrew (down from 7th), and Cosmic Turtle (up from 16th). Average and Odd Swami were ineligible! Out of the top ten go DogRam (down from 12th to 13th)! There are many more weeks to go so how will this list get juggled? Stay tuned for more intriguing stories!


Congratulations go to LGTomcat for remaining in the lead for the last place spot in Week # 6 (second consecutive week), followed closely by Bear (up from 15th), none (remained in 23rd), IRISH (remained in 22nd), Tenacious D (remained in 21st), Yoda (remained in 20th), moon (down from 24th), CJSGM (up from 17th), PNW (down from 18th) and ZIP (down from 19th)! This battle for that covetted last space spot rages!! Remember, the eligibility for this race requires at least 80% of the games picked! Some people are already hindering their chances by missing a paper! Random, Average, and SWAMI-odds are ineligible! Will these participants continue in their picky ways?
