Jessamine Co., KY Deed Book A, pg 304:
Know all men by these presents that I John Johnson of Jessamine
County and state of Kentucky have sold and by these presents
do convey unto James Webb Senr. of the County and state
aforesaid two feather beds and furniture and one chest and one
corner cupboard with the furniture which consists in breakle
ware and some pewter also two bake ovens and two pots and
twelve chairs and two dining tables also five pair of
bedsteads and eight sheep if found for the consideration of
the sum of sixty three pounds five shillings the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself fully satisfied it
being payed to me in land in Jessamine County the land that
the said James Webb Senr. bought at the sherriffs sale and
also four head of cattle. In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand this 24th, day of October 1801.

The written bill of sale was produced before me acknowledged
by the said John Johnson to be his act and deed and ordered to
record.
