Robert Matthws Deed to Robert Patterson

We also find an additional land transaction on Sep 12, 1744 when Robert and Mary Matthews, transfer title to part of their property in Exeter, Philadelphia Co., PA to Robert and Mary Patterson.
"...Whereas Robert Matthews and Mary his wive by indenture under their hands and seals bearing Date the twelfth Day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty four recorded at Reading in Book A Vol 1 page 146 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant & confirm unto Robert Patterson in his life time a certain messuage or tenement and tract or piece of land lying in Exeter aforesaid beginning at a corner of Daniel Gate's land and running thence by Joseph Kirkbridge's land with twenty degrees west one hundred and fifty right perches thence by Robert Matthews land the place courses following viz: South seventy degrees east thirty nine perches and another pinch thence north twenty degrees east seventy two perches and an half thence south seventy degrees east thirty nine perches thence by Gunard Sadler's land north twenty degrees east eighty five perches and an half to a small hickory mark for a corner, thence by Daniel Cole's land north seventy degrees west seventy nine perches to the place of beginning containing sixty acres with the appurtenances to hold the same to him his heirs and assigns forever by force and virtue of which said recited indenture or of some other good conveyances and assurances the law duly ..."
