Berks Co., PA, DB A2, p. 350: Indenture made 24 Dec 1736 between “Anthony Lee of ye Township of Oley in the County of Philada. in the Province of Pennsylvania yeoman John Webb of ye same place yeoman & Squire Boone of the said Township yeoman of the one part and Ellis Hugh of ye same Township yeoman Thomas Ellis of ye said Township yeoman and James Boone of Oley aforesaid yeoman of ye other part”. Land in Oley Township conveyed by George & Deborah Boone to Anthony Lee, John Webb, & Squire Boone to Ellis Hugh, Thomas Ellis & James Boone. The purpose of the conveyance stated: “...Conveyance and asureance be made they the said Anthony Lee John Webb and Squire Boone and their heirs shall permit and suffer ye said Messuage or Tennament to be and remaine for a house and place of Religious Worship or meeting for the people called Quakers within ye said Township of Oley...”. Convey 267 acres in Exeter Township bounded by James Boone, “land late of Ellis Hughes deceased”, “land late of Peter Bingermand and Peter Furnwald”, “land late of Rudolph Hegler”. Conveys for 400 pounds 126 acres “Plantation, water corn Mill and Saw Mill and Tract of Land Situate in Bohandy Creek in the County of Berks aforesaid beginning at a marked White oak a Corner of John Webb Junior's Land and from thense extending by North sixty degrees East one hundred and ninety three Perches and an half to a post Thence by land surveyed for John Starret North thirty Degrees West one hundred and Seventeen Perches and three Quarters of a Perch to a marked White oak Thence by John Webb's Land...”. Land that was originally patented 8 Sep 1761 to Isaiah Willets and Ellis Hughes and recorded in Philadelphia Co. Patent Book AA, Vol 1, page 533 and conveyed by Isaiah & Susanna Willets and Ellis & Hannah Hughes to John Webb on 13 May 1767and recorded in Berks County Deed Book A, Vol 6, page 39?. Berks Co., PA, DB B3, p. 401: “This Indenture Made the twenty sixth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy eight Between Benjamin Webb of the Township of Brunsburg in the County of Berks and province of Pennsylvania yeoman of the one part And Peter Orwig of the Township of Brunwig aforesaid of the other part...”. Conveys for 1450 pounds land bounded by Joseph Jorden “Containing four hundred and sixty nine acres and an half acre and the usual allowance for roads ??. It being the greater part of four several tracts of land surveryed by virtue of four warrents bearing dates respectively the 4th day of March 1750 unto a certain John Webb in fee. Who by four ????? of writings duly created bearing date respectively the 19th day of April Anno Domini 1774 granted & confirmed the same among other lands unto the said Benjamin Webb party hereto in fee...”. Berks Co., PA, DB B3, p. 402: “ To all People to whom these presents shall come Benjamin Webb of Brunswig Township Berks County & state of Pennsylvania yeoman sends greeting. Whereas by virtue of a Warrant from the Proprietors of Penna aforesaid bearing date the 4th day of March Annno Domini 1750 there was surveyed unto a certain John Webb, A certain tract of land in Brunwig Township aforesaid containing about 200 acres & the same more or less as may appear in the surveyor generals office. And wherein the said John Webb by Indenture of the 13th day of April Anno domini 1774 granted the same tract of land & ????? (amongst other land) unto the said Benjamin Webb party hereto in fee. Now know that the said Benjamin Webb for and in consideration of thirty seven pounds & 10 shillings lawful money of Pennsylvania to him in hand paid by Peter Orbig ...”. Dated 28 Sep 1778. Conveys for 20 pounds two parcels of land. The first 1 acre and fifty perches land bordering Samuel Webb and Joseph Anthony. Berks Co., PA, DB 19, p. 65: “To All People to whom these presents shall come Jacob Feig of Manheim Township Berks County & State of Pennsylvania Yeoman, he the said Feig being one of the Grand Children of Jacob Kantner late of Tulpehocon Township in the County of Berks aforesaid Yeoman deceased. Where as the said Jacob Kantner in his fifetime and at the time of his death being seized and posessed of several tracts of land in the said County the one of them situate in Tulpehoccon Township in the County aforesaid adjoining land of Nicholas Long Henry Seller and others containing one hundred seventy seven acres and fifty one perches & allowances which said tract of land is now in the occupation and posession of George Kantner & Nicholas Kantner they the said George & Nicholas being two of the sons above named Jacob Kantner. Now Know Ye that the said Jacob Feig in Right ??ght to the estate of my said Grandfather Jacob Kantner deceased do for and in consideration of the sum of four pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to me in hand paid by George and Nicholas Kantner at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt and payment whereof I do hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit and forever discharge the said George Kantner & Nicholas Kantner their Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns by these presents in full pay and satisfaction for my share and part out of and from the estate of my said Grandfather Jacob Kantner deceased and therefore the said Jacob Feig for myself my Heirs Executors and Administrator do hereby release remise? Quit claim and for ever discharge the said George Kantner and Nicholas Kantner and their and each of their Heirs Executor Administrators and assigns of and all share, legaces portions claims & demands whatever of ???? to the above mentioned & described tract of land formerly the estate of said Jacob Kantner deceased shall and will by ?????? and forever debarred by these presents. Whereas the said Jacob Kantner in his lifetime and at the time of his death being sized and possessed of several tracts of land in the said County the one of them situate in Tulpohoccon Township aforesaid bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a chesnut oak in the line of Nicholas Longs land thence by the same and vacant land north ten? Degrees West one hundred and fifty five perches to a spanish oak South eighty degrees West one hundred and twenty four perches to a Chesnut oak and Southten degrees East twenty perches to a white oak and South eighty degrees West eighty perches to a post and South ten degrees East one hundred and thirty five perches to a white oak thence by land of Henry Sellers North eighty degrees East two hundred and four perches to the place of Beginnig Containing one hundred and twenty seven acres and fifty one perches of land and allowance. Which said tract of land is now in the occupation and possession of Nicholas Kantner & George Kantner. Know Ye that for and in consideration of the sum of nine pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to him in hand paid by Jacob Miller of the Township County and State aforsaid at and before the sealing and delivering here of the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have and by these presents do grant bargain sell assign transfer and set over all my right title claim interest property and demand whatsoever of in to or out of the within written Deed and the lot of ground therein described mentioned meant or intended to be with the appertenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Joseph Webb his Heirs or Assigns to have and to hold the same unto him the said Jacob Miller his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and benefit and behoof of him the said Jacob Miller his and assigns for ever. In Witness whereof the said Joseph Webb hath hereunto set his hand and seal the 20th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and one. Berks Co., PA, DB 29, p. 122-123: Know all men by these presents that whereas Anthony Faust late of Bern Township in the County of Berks & State of Pennsylvania yeoman deceased made his last will and Testament in couting? Bearing date the 6th day of January 1790 since deceased duly proven & un??ening in the Registers Office at Reading for the County of Berks did among other things order that his land should be sold & the proceed thereof together with the proceeds of his personal Estate should be divided in seven equal shares. And whereas Leonard Faust & Daniel Faust his two sons and heirs were duly appointed Administrators with the will annexed. Now know ye that we John Burky and Elizabeth his wife (she the said Elizabeth being a daughter & Heir of the said Anthony Faust) do hereby acknowledge that we have had and received of and from the said Leonard Faust & Daniel Faust the sum of two hundred seventy Pounds thirteen shillings being the one seventh part of the agregate of the Real and personal Estate of the said Anthony Faust deceased the receipt of which sum we do hereby acknowledge and there of acquit and forever discharge the said Leonard Faust & Daniel Faust their Heirs Executors & Administrators by these presents Have rem[oved] released and forever quit claimed and by these presents do remuse release and forever quit claim & discharge the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust their Heirs Executors & Administrators by these presents of and from all legacies dues duties & demands whatsoever which we our Executors or Administrators may claim challenge or demand of or against the said Leonard Faust & Daniel Faust their Executors or Administrators by virtue of the said last will and Testament of or act of the Real and personal Estate of the said Anthony Faust deceased as aforesaid. Berks Co., PA, DB 29, p. 123-124: To All People to whom these presents shall come Magdalena Faust widow and relict of Anthony Faust late of Bern Township in the County of Berks yeoman deceased send Greeting Whereas the said Anthony Faust was in his life time by virture of some good conveyances or assurances in the law duly had and executed lawfully seized in his demesne? of fee of and in a certain messouage or Tenament Plantation and two contiguous or adjoining Tracts of land situate in the Township of Bern in the County of Berks aforesaid adjoining lands of Jacob Shertel, Adam Kaufman John Niftzinger Michael Waggoner John Loeb and Church lands containing together two hundred and seventy two acres and the allowance be the same more or less with the appertenances and being so thereof seized made his last will and Testament in writing under his Hand & Seal duly executed bearing date the sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety (amongst other [things] did did direct and ordain his said land to be sold at private & public sales in pursuance where of his two sons Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust did on the 25th day of March 1808 at Public vendue & out cry sell the same to Casper Hump for the sum of nineteen hundred pounds. He being the highest and best bidder and confirmed unto the said Casper Hump under the hand and seals of the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust by them Deed poll bearing date the ninth day of May 1808. And the said Casper Stumck did on the Back of the said Deed poll bearing even date therewith for the same consideration sum of nineteen hundred pounds grant and resell the same unto the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust their heirs and assigns forever (and further did order that the aggregate sums arising out of the Sales of the Real and Personal Estate to be equally divided amongst his children and to his beloved wife Magdalena in seven equal shares. Now Know ye that said Magdalena Faust widow as above mentioned for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and seventy seven pounds thirteen Shillings lawfull money of Pennsylvania in gold and silver it being one seventh equal share out of the Real and personal Estates aforementioned to me in hand paid by the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust at and before the unsealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and there of acquit and forever discharge them the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust their Heirs Executors and Administrators by these presents have ??mised released and forever quit claimed and by these presents do remise release and forever quit claim unto them the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust all and all manner of dower, share and demand title of dower or share whatsoever which I the said Magdalena Faust now have, may might should or of right ought to have or claim of, in or out of all and every the Messuages land tenaments and hereditaments and out of the personal Estate which were belonging to the said Anthony Faust my late husband, situate in Bern Township in the County of Berks aforesaid. And also all manner of act on or actions writ and writs of share in dower whatsoever so as neither I the said Magdalena Faust nor any other person for me or in my name any manner of dower or share or writ of action of dower, or any right or title of dower of or in the said lands tenaments and hereditances or of or in any part or parcel have of at any time hereafter shall or may have claim or prosecute against the said Leonard Faust and Daniel Faust their Heirs or Assigns. In Witness where of the said Magdalena Faust hath hereunto set her hand and seal the twenty eighth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve Magdalena x Faust (her mark & seal) Sealed and delivered in the presence of Johannas Lowiti Elizabeth x Burky (her mark) Berks County Jp. The 28th day of April in year Anno Domini 1812 before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the said County came the above named Magdalena Faust widow and acknowledged the afore written release to be her act and Deed and desired the same might be recorded as such according to Law. Berks Co., PA, DB 29, p. 124: Know all men by these presents that we Christian Walter and Jacob Schock together with the wives Catharine & Maria of Berks County & State of Penna have remised released and forever discharged by these presents as for us our heirs Executors and Administrators remised released and forever discharged Daniel Faust and Leonard Faust of Berks County & State aforesaid their Heirs Executors Administrators of and for all and all manner of action causes of action Suits debts due sums of money account reckonings bonds bills specialilies convenants contracts controversies agreements promises variance damages judgements extets executions claims and demands whatsoever in law and equity which against the said Daniel Faust and Leonard Faust ever had now have or which our Heirs Executors Administrators hereafter can shall or may have for upon or by ???? of any matter cause or thing whatsoever from the beginning of the world to the day of the date of the presents. Berks Co., PA, DB 29, p. 124-125: Know all men by these presents that we Joseph Webb of Manheim Township in the County of Schuylkill and Catherine his wife late Catharine Walter daughter of Christian Walter of Manheim Township aforesaid. Whereas Anthony Faust late of Bern Township in the County of Berks deceased By his last Will and Testament did bequeath to the Children of said Christian Walter the sum of forty pounds lawful Money of Pennsylvania . Now know ye that we the said Joseph Webb and Catharine his wife late Catharine Walter do hereby acknowledge that we have this day had and received of and from Leonard Faust Executor of the last Will and Testament of the said Anthony Faust deceased the sum of four pounds six shillings one pence in full satisfaction and payment of all such sum or sums of money legacies and bequests as are given and bequested to the said Catharine by the last Will and Testament aforesaid and all Interest accrued thereupon. And therefore the said Joseph Webb and Catharine his wife late Catharine Walter do by these presents release acquit and forever discharge the said Leonard Faust his Heirs Executors and Administrators of and from the said legacy or legacies and of and from all actions suits payments accounts reckings claims and demands whatsoever for or by reason thereof or of any other act matter cause or thing shatsoever touching or concerning the same. In Witness whereof the said Joseph Webb and Catharine his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the eleventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen. Berks Co., PA, DB 29, p. 125-126: Know all men by these presents that we the undersigned respective Legates and Heirs of Anthony Faust late of Bern Township Berks County and State of Pennsylvania deceased for and in consideration of the full share dividends or legacy to us respectively paid by Leonard Faust of Bern Township aforesaid Executor of the last Will and Testament of said deceased which Will was dated Jan. 23rd AD 1810 and since the decease of the aforesaid Testator duly proven & approved, Have each for himself & his heirs Executors and Adm'st by signing this release and by these presents do remise release quit claim and forever discharge the said Leonard Faust of Bern aforesaid and his Heirs Exec'rs Adm'rs of and from all and every demand legacy claim Interest and share to each of us due coming and owing by virtue of aforesaid Testament and the therein described legacies & primises fully absolutely & entirely and In Witness whereof we and each of us have set our hand & seal at the proper day and time prefixed to our names, signed this 14th day of March 1815 by Worllantine Dinll (seal) for himself and on behalf of his wife Elizabeth + Deel (her mark) late Elizabeth Walter.
