Trivia: Adoption Center Exclusives

Adoption Center Exclusives

Cherished Teddies adoption centers are retailers with special status. They have a higher sales volume and need to have a certain number of new memberships and renewals in order to maintain their adoption center status. In return, they get special Cherished Teddies pieces that are only available to adoption centers, and they also tend to get newer pieces sooner than other retailers.

Adoption center exclusives are limited edition pieces only available at adoption centers. The adoption center limited exclusives consist of the following:

  • Priscilla and Greta (1995) -- Named after Priscilla Hillman and her twin sister, this piece features two girl bears with thier teddy bears. One girl is sitting on a chair and the other on a rug in this two piece set. Limited to 19,960 copies in the US and 10,000 international copies.
  •
  • Tasha (1996) -- This piece is featured on the front page of this web site and shows a bear with an attic chest and teddy bears everywhere! This piece is the most intricate and expensive of the limited exclusives. 19,960 pieces were allotted to the US and 10,000 internationally.

    • 8C0/001 through 8C9/999 = 9,999 pieces of the first series (00001 through 09999)
    • 8H0/000 through 8H9/999 = 10,000 pieces of the second series (10000 through 19999)
    • 8E0/000 through 8E5/000 = 5,001 pieces of the third (last) series (20000 through 25000)

The lowest number is 8C0/001 (piece 00001) and the highest number is 8E5/000 (piece 25000).
