Angels of the Fallen - Band Biography
The history of Angels of the Fallen goes all the way back to the days of Dimension Zero, the bands first Dark Metal attempt.

During this time of Dimension Zero the band were experimenting with a new style of music mixing elements of Black Metal (i.e. Cradle of Filth, Marduk, etc.), Death Metal (i.e. Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Death, etc.) and the classical style (i.e. Yngwie, King Diamond, etc.) which molded the style of these four young men. When forming this band each of the members brought there own style with them and put that into the music. Onedin for example brought his unique style of blending Black and the softest clean vocals throughout the song. Tarek brought his love of Andy LaRocque, John brought his blistering scales to most of the rhythms, and Ian brought his love of progressive metal (i.e. Dream Theater, Cynic, etc.).

After the three men (Tarek, John, Ian) got together and started writing music they created the acclaimed Constellational Shift and soon after Infinite Nothingness, but problems with them soon ended in a break in the band...

...thus enters Angels of the Fallen...

...this new style which Dimension Zero called Dark Metal, Angels of the Fallen adapted and mastered. Dimension Zero got back together in the ending years of 1999 with master bassist Chris Avery and changed there name to Angels of the Fallen (Onedin Giraldo's concept around the lyrics). The band went back to there roots of there art and rewrote and somewhat rearranged Constellational Shift and Infinite Nothingness. After these songs were again mastered they went on to write Zodiac and a new three minute and two second extravaganza at 192 b.p.m. (title still unknown).

Currently the band is working on a new song that is touching the roots of Angels of the Fallen's band name and album title called IKON.

But after the untimely absence of Onedin and Jon, Ian and Tarek took a different road by re arranging, composing, playing, and producing this album by themselves. The title was changed and tracks were deleted off the roster but this album is more brutal and beautiful than any other....
