Fiat Spider Web Links

A brief description of useful Fiat websites.

Home

One of the most useful Fiat-related websites in my opinion is www.mirafiori.com
This website has been around since the early days of the internet, and has accumulated tons of useful information mostly through
its forum. Most useful to me are the vendor links and the Fiat Forum, which is accessible from their home page.

Mirafiori Fiat Forum

The Mirafiori Fiat forum includes a Technical forum, where you can ask technical questions and get them answered by a
surprisingly helpful and knowledgeable group of fellow Fiat owners, home mechanics, professional mechanics, and even some
vendors as well. In this forum you will find hundreds of man-years worth of collective experience in repairing,
maintaining, and upgrading Fiat automobiles. This is an invaluable resource for solving various issues that
you may come across.

Also included are Cars/Parts For Sale and Cars/Parts Wanted forums. These are invaluable resources for locating
hard-to-find or typically-expensive used parts. Vendors also post here as well. I've found that fellow Fiat owners
are more interested in helping you get your car running than they are in making a profit when they sell parts or respond
to your want ads.

The forum requires you to register to enter as a member, although you can also enter as a guest. There is surprisingly little
spam, which I guess is due to its unique forum format and administration. If you are a Fiat owner, I strongly recommend you
register with this forum site to take advantage of a powerful wealth of information.

Mirafiori Parts Resources List

This link is on the main Mirafiori site, but I'll post it here: Parts Sources.
This is a list of Fiat parts suppliers and mechanic shops broken down by state. If there is a website or email, it is listed as well
This is an invaluable page for tracking down that hard-to-find part. I don't know how up-to-date the list is, but most if not all
of the links still work.

International Auto Parts

Even though they are located on the other side of the country in Virginia, IAP is my main source of new Fiat parts.
They have a website at www.international-auto.com where you can order online, but I typically phone in my orders.
The sales representatives that I talk to when I place my order have a lot of technical experience, which is very uncommon
in this day and age. The fact is, most of them drive Fiats or Alfa Romeos (IAP sells parts for both manufacturers), and
thus know a thing or two themselves. I find this to be invaluable when trying to figure out exactly what parts I need.
Very friendly folks. It is very refreshing to talk to sales reps who know what you are talking about...in my opinion IAP
should serve as a case study in good customer service.

Pierce Manifolds, Inc.

Located in Gilroy, California and on the web at www.piercemanifolds.com, this company is THE source of information
and help when it comes to Weber Carburetors. If all else fails and your Weber carb still isn't running right, contact them.
New Weber Carbs are a thing of the past, and remanufactured ones are getting hard to find.

Bruce's Parts Bin

If IAP is out of a part, I check with Bruce at www.fiatparts.com. He has some really good deals in his online catalog.

Wiring Diagrams & Electrical Info

Wiring diagrams, courtesy of James Seabolt. You will find them at the bottom of this page of excellent electrical system information.
I've seen these wiring diagrams elsewhere on the web, including John E. Booth's download page.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, and I will be adding more links as I run across them.
