 OLD GUEST HOUSE MUSEUM
AMERICAN POTASH & CHEMICAL CORP. ROOM

In 1926 the American Trona Corporation was renamed American Potash and Chemical Corporation.  American
Potash expanded the Trona Plant several times and added many new products.  The displays in this room
chronicle the evolution of this important Searles Valley business.

This picture shows the master clock from the Trona Plant.  It also shows several photographs of the early Trona Plant.
This is a display of the many products produced by American Potash from Searles Lake brine.  You can also see a few more of the many photographs that line the walls of this room.
This is one of the early product bag printing machines that were used to print the company name and product name on paper bags that were filled with the various products.
This room also has several displays of news clippings, many with photographs.
